Waterford Minor footballers have been reacting to the postponement of their intercounty games.
The Déise were due to travel to the LIT Gaelic Grounds on Saturday for a Munster Quarter-Final tie against Limerick but that fixture has now been put on hold.
Also on hold are Waterford's underage hurling fixtures - both the Minors and Under-20's were due to take on Tipperary in the Provincial semi-finals next week.
Waterford captain Darragh Veale from Kilrossanty said the team is naturally disappointed:
"After putting in all the effort getting ready to go out and face Limerick, a huge effort was put in by all the players and all the managers, we were ready to go like, but what can you do? This stuff has to be done".
Ryan Hennessy from Rathgormack said the uncertainty over the week was hard to take:
"Health is very important, so it could be far worse, but it was a bit of a surprise, it was only Monday night we were all training and we were convinced it was going to go ahead."
Barry Power from Rathgormack said they hope the match goes ahead in the not too distant future:
"There's a small bit of hope still there, we'd be looking forward to the game, if it does go ahead ...whenever this is finished, we just have to try keep the heads right, not loose focus and if it does go ahead, get back in the regime."

Waterford Minor football coach Kieran Heffernan said it's tough on this age-group to have Saturday's game taken away:
"Protect the Senior is the main thing for the GAA probably at this stage, but you're talking about young lads, 16, 17 here and they've had a lot of things in school that they can't do, a lot of curtailment in their lives already".
Kieran said the team has been on its best behaviour at training and it's a shame for the lads.
The GAA will issue further advice in relation to when these competitions will take place in due course.
