Waterford FC and Bohemians will meet for the third time this season when they come face to face at the RSC in the Airtricity League Premier Division this evening.

The Blues haven't played since late May when they overcame Bray in the Quarter-Final of the EA Sports Cup.

The two sides have played out scoreless draws in their previous league meetings this season.

Shane Duggan the Blues influential midfield player says it it will a tough task against a team who are currently in third position on the league table.

Waterford FC will have to face Bohemians at the RSC on Friday without a number of players who were with the club before the midterm break and enforced postponements against Cork City, Derry City and Shamrock Rovers. Izzy Akinade, Scott Twine, Aaron Drinan and Aaron Simpson have all left for a variety of reasons.

Shane Duggan, the Blues midfield player however believes the squad is good enough to step up to the plate during the coming weeks.

Shane told WLR Sport that the squad will be keen to get three points.

Kick-off is @ 7:45pm, and Matt Keane will have updates across the evening here on WLR.

Elsewhere, Dundalk bring a 5 point lead over their nearest opponents Shamrock Rovers into the meeting of the teams at Tallaght Stadium.

Kick off is at 8pm.

That's also the start time for the North West derby involving Finn Harps and Sligo Rovers in Ballybofey.

It's Cork City versus Derry City at Turner's Cross, and UCD versus St Patrick's Athletic at the Belfield Bowl, with those underway @ 7:45pm.
