Calum Lyons has been voted GAA.ie Hurler of the Week.
The Waterford defender received 3,970 votes from the public ahead of Tipperary's Cathal Barrett and Donegal's Declan Coulter.
The Ballyduff Lower racked up three points from play for the Deise in their Allianz Hurling League Division 1 victory over Limerick on Sunday.
Lyons was one of the three players from the Suir siders named as part of the GAA's team of the week. Jack Prendergast along with Conor Prunty made up the other two places.
The Deise side beat the All-Ireland Champions Limerick over the weekend beating the Treaty side by a scoreline of 1-22 to 0-21 at Walsh Park last Sunday. This was their first win over the Shannonsiders since 2016.
Meanwhile the GAA has rearranged the Allianz Hurling League meeting of Kilkenny and Wexford for this Sunday.
The game was originally due to take place last weekend but was postponed after a number of the Wexford panel tested positive for COVID-19.
