A bumper crowd is expected in Lawlor's Hotel, Dungarvan this evening as the 2019 Waterford GAA awards take place, with the big event once again being sponsored by the Local Bar.

2018 county hurler of the year Pauric Mahony has been shortlisted again alongside Waterford team mates Stephen Bennett, Shane McNulty and Callum Lyons.

Conway Cup winners Rathgormack have two players in contention for footballer of the year in captain Michael Curry and ace attacker Conor Murray while Brian Looby (Ballinacourty) and Darragh Corcoran of St Saviours also made the final four.
