Former team-mates Fergal Hartley and Andy Moloney joined Gavin to pay tribute to Ballygunner defender Philip Mahony who has announced his retirement from inter county hurling.
The 28 year old has been a Waterford regular over the past nine years.
He won a Munster medal in 2010 and a National League in 2015, started the 2017 All Ireland final and was nominated for an All Star on three occasions.
High praise from Fergal Hartley on @wlrfm "I've been involved in a lot of dressing rooms over the last 30 years & I'd say without exception that I've not been involved with a better leader than Philip Mahony"
