Dungarvan trainer John Kiely has landed the Irish Cesarewitch at the Curragh, as Line Out was first to the line in the 30-runner race at odds of 18/1.
Kiely’s charge, ridden by Shane Foley, saw off Cesarewitch Trial winner Turnpike Trip to land the honour - 53 years after Kiely first won the race in 1968, in what is a truly remarkable training performance.
