Kilrossanty will bid to capture the Munster Junior Club Hurling Championship title on Saturday afternoon as the green and gold face Russell Rovers of Cork in Pairc Ui Rinn.
Kilrossanty find themselves in the final after victories against Feenagh-Kilmeady of Limerick in Lemybrien - before going up to Tulla and turning over The Banner of Clare on a 3-15 to 0-20 scoreline. The green and gold had suffered a heavy loss to Roanmore in the Waterford decider, but have now bounced back to give themselves a shot at provincial silverware.
They'll face a Russell Rovers side managed by Cork legend Donal Og Cusack - in a competition that has traditionally been dominated by Cork sides.
Throw-in is at 1pm and selector Maurice Dee says they're relishing the occasion.
"Days like this don't come along too often. It's great to see in the last few days that the colours have been going up in the village and in the schools. It's a great day for the parish and a great day for the community - it's been a while since we've been in a final like this - so it's great."
It's not a first Munster Final for Kilrossanty - having made it to the senior football equivalent twice in the 1980s. For a club traditionally seen as a footballing specialist -to be in this position is incredible.
"We're not just going up there for the craic - this is going to be a very special day for the lads. We were in Munster Club Football Finals in '86 and '88 - that's twice in sixty years. It doesn't come along often and it's a special day. It's a day to enjoy as well and we'll have a rattle off them. It's up to every player to go out and represent themselves and work their socks off for the hour."
