Kilmacthomas are back in the senior football ranks for next season.
The Sky Blues saw off a strong Modeligo challenge in yesterday's Co. Intermediate football Final in Carrigbeg by 2-13 to 1-14 as Benji Whlean's charges claimed a first title since 2001.
Kilmac' captain Jay Hurton praised Benji and selector Johno Power who were part of the team in 2001.
Kilmac' travel to Kerry to take on Kilcummin in the Munster semi-final next Sunday.

Elsewhere yesterday, Mount Sion claimed the Eastern Junior 'A' Football title seeing off Ferrybank by 1-11 to 0-5 at the WIT Arena, they'll now face Shamrocks in next Saturday's Co. Final at 2pm in Walsh Park.
Abbeyside won their third successive Western U-21 'A' Hurling title seeing off Cois Bhride in Fraher Field, it finished after extra-time Abbeyside 2-23 Cois Bhride 0-21.
Kilrossanty were crowned Co. Minor hurling Champions for the very first time yesterday, as they saw off Ballyduff Upper to lift the Division 3 title by 2-17 to 3-10 in Fraher Field.
