Following their excellent 3-0 victory over Wexford on Sunday at the RSC on Sunday, there was more good news for manager Nigel Ray and his Kennedy Cup squad last night.
Waterford have received a home draw in the semi-final of Ireland's most prestigious Schoolboy Football tournament.
They will play Cork in the RSC on either December 4th or 5th.
Dublin will have home advantage against South Belfast in the other last four clash.
Waterford are trying to end a Kennedy Cup famine that stretches back to 2003.
Brian Murphy, Daryl Murphy, John O'Shea, Stephen and Noel Hunt and Eddie Nolan carved out their careers playing for Waterford in this national competition.
