Rob Kearney has emerged as Ireland's latest doubt for Sunday's World Cup opener with Scotland.

The Leinster full-back is understood to have suffered a calf injury in training today in Chiba.

Robbie Henshaw is also likely to miss the game with a hamstring problem.

However, Joey Carbery is expected to feature against the Scots.
