Waterford trainer, Bob Murphy, celebrated a big win at the weekend as 'Darren's Hope' was first to cross the line at Punchestown.

Having been somewhat off the pace at her last outing in Limerick, the eight-year-old 20/1 shot won the Liam and Valerie Brennan Florida Pearl Novice Chase on Sunday.

Danny Mullins was aboard the mare in what Bob says was "the best win she's ever had!"

He spoke to RTÉ Sport directly after the race, in an interview that's garnered much attention online for the trainer's delighted reaction and his "signature" cowboy boots!

"I've been milking cows all my life and I've always had a love for horses," Bob, who is a dairy farmer, said.

"I'm lucky to have a good mare like that now. I have a couple of good ones - her mother was a great mare and she's every bit as good as her.

"So,  I'm wicked lucky to have her.

"... For me to have a horse, to breed her and train her at home and do the whole lot myself, tis mighty!"
