A night to remember in Croke Park for the Waterford hurlers.
The last time the Deise beat Kilkenny in Croke Park was in 1959 - a year that will need no explanation to Waterford hurling fans.
After 70 minutes of hard battling against the Cats; Liam Cahill, Mickey Bevans, Stephen Frampton, and Stephen Molumphy have facilitated a team performance that guided the senior hurlers back to an All-Ireland for the first since 2017.
In a year where fans couldn't attend games, the club championship will have had families across the county (and indeed the country outside of Kilkenny) jumping off couches and punching the ceiling as Waterford secured their spot in the showpiece final on December 13th.
My long suffering Deise father in law, 82 and would go through the wall for @WaterfordGAA . @LiamCahill16 has made him a very happy man tonight. Woooo pic.twitter.com/s7na9bciLJ

As usual, our match commentator Kieran O Connor did his best to control himself as the final whistle went
