Ireland U16 women will face Norway tomorrow in the Classification 9th - 16th at the FIBA U16 European Championships, Division B in Podgorica, Montenegro.
Kate Hickey of the Mercy and Waterford Wildcats is part of the team.
Ireland placed third in their group, behind group winners Israel yesterday, while Romania finished ahead of them also. Norway finished fourth in their group after losses to Finland, Belarus and Ukraine.
The girls in green will be hoping to bounce back after their tough loss against Israel on Tuesday. Ireland stayed close throughout the game but the Israelis pulled away towards the end of the game, as they tend to do with most teams.
Head coach Karl Kilbride stated, "We’re going to take advantage of our rest day, look at some video and work on some of our weaknesses such as turnovers and execution. We have Norway in front of us now and our goal is unchanged, win every game".
Ireland v Norway will tip off at 19:30 (Irish time).
