Waterford camogie captain Niamh Rockett was glad to get over the line against Down by a point last Saturday. It was their first win of the season.
“It was such a relief. They had a chance to level it and I was in on the edge of the square, no business being in there! I was praying that it wouldn’t go over the bar! I was like ‘here we go again.’ It was never so delighted to see a ball to go out over my head and over the end line. It was a really big relief. Delighted with the win, it's a monkey off our backs."
Derek Lyons' side can seal a place in the All Ireland quarter finals for the fourth year in a row with a win away to Dublin at Parnell Park on Saturday evening.
