Hibernians are the Jimmy Searson Ardagh Premier Cup Champions for the eighth time in the club's history.

They've beaten defending Champions Tramore 3-1 at Ozier Park to win their first cup since 2017.

Hibs opened the scoring through Ben Walshe after 22 minutes and were lucky not to concede a Conor Butler penalty before the break.

In the second half, it took Antonio Petrovic 20 minutes to find the net, making it a 2-0 affair, but Tramore did eventually pull one back from the penalty spot thanks to Aran O'Brien.

Petrovic punished Tramore again in the 84th minute to send the scoreline to 3-1, a lead David Breen's side would hold on to until the full-time whistle.

This edition of the cup will go into the cabinet at Mitchell Kennedy Park along with their seven previous titles. The last of those seven in 2017 came at the end of Hibs dominance in the competition when they won five straight.
