Shane Ahearne and Kieran O'Gorman picked their three stars of the Waterford SHC on Friday's Lár Na Páirce County Final Special.
New Waterford minor boss Ahearne went for Mount Sion midfielder Stephen Roche first of all. "He's had a great year; he's been busy up and down the field. He was involved in the Waterford set-up for a while but now that he has stepped back from it, he's enjoying his club hurling."
Ballygunner attacker Mikey Mahony also caught his eye. "The unsung hero of Ballygunner is Mikey Mahony. He's a good link between their crowded midfield and their forward line."
Roanmore top scorer Gavin O'Brien was his third pick. "They're depending a lot on him for Sunday but if ever a man can carry that, it's Gavin. Like Stephen Roche, he stepped back from the county squad and he is going really well with the club. He is their real leader."
Former Waterford minor and under 21 coach Kieran O'Gorman selected Roanmore defender Conor Ryan. "He has been fabulous the last couple of games in a man marking job. If one of the lads went to the toilet, he would follow him!"
Gunners forward Harry Ruddle is also enjoying a good season. "A lovely hurler. He is very skilful, he is very quick. He seems to have the bit between his teeth this year."
The versatile Carthach Daly from Lismore is another one to watch. "He played full back in the first game when David Prendergast was suspended, he played at centre back when his brother Iarlaith was injured and he was phenomenal at midfield the last day. A big future ahead of all those three players."
