October 31 is the date that the Waterford hurlers and footballers will begin their Munster championship campaigns.
Liam Cahill's hurlers will face Cork in the Munster semi final on Saturday afternoon at 3.30 in Semple Stadium. The Déise defeated the Rebels 1-24 to 3-17 in the league back in January. Waterford's last championship win came against Cork in the 2017 All Ireland semi final.
On Saturday evening at 7, Benji Whelan's footballers will host Limerick in a knockout provincial quarter final at Fraher Field. It will be the third competitive meeting between these two counties in 2020. The Treaty men came out on top in the league and the McGrath Cup.
