Six in a row chasing Ballygunner cruised into the semi finals of the Waterford Senior Hurling Championship after a 3-22 to 1-12 triumph over close rivals Passage at a bright and breezy Walsh Park.
Peter Hogan netted twice while Michael Mahony also goaled for the champions.
Pauric Mahony shot 11 points (7 placed balls) while Dessie Hutchinson fired six from play.
Hogan's first goal on 21 minutes helped them into an eight point lead at the break after playing against the elements (1-11 to 0-6).
Michael Mahony raised their second green flag on 50 minutes. Owen Connors got a consolation goal for Passage before Hogan found the top corner in injury time.

In the Relegation play-offs, Clonea have mainatined their top flight status for next season after defeating Fourmilewater by 3-22 to 1-15 in Fraher Field.
James Power netted a brace of goals while Michael Curry also raised a green flag for last year's Intermediate champions.
In the second game, Tallow edged out neighbours Ballyduff Upper by 1-16 to 0-17.
Ballyduff will now take on Fourmilewater in the relegation final on a date to be confirmed.
