Team Ireland were in the medals early on at the European Cross Country Championship in Abbotstown.
The Under-23 men snatched Team Gold in the 8,000 metres while Darren McElhiney took individual silver.
Micheal Power of West Waterford Ac was part of that team effort for the U23's.
The Irish men's under-20s secured team silver in the 6,000 metre event to get the ball rolling earlier this morning.
Ruth Heery of Waterford AC placed 50th in the women's U23 final with Italy's Nadia Battocletti taking the top honors.
