A late, late goal by Ciara O'Sullivan gave Gailltir a dramatic 3-13 to 1-16 win against St Annes in the county senior camogie final at Walsh Park on Saturday afternoon.
St Annes turned a nine point deficit into a one point lead entering injury time. They scored eight in a row during the last quarter, six from Niamh Rockett and two from Becky Kavanagh, to leave them 1-16 to 2-12 ahead entering injury time. Rockett shot eleven points in total (ten frees).
Two minutes into stoppage time, O'Sullivan flicked Aoife Fitzgerald's free to the net. 2-2 for the centre forward. A fourth point of the afternoon from Emer Walsh wrapped up their third county title in a row.
Earlier in the day, Dungarvan beat An Rinn 6-6 to 4-7 in the intermediate decider at the WIT Arena. Brickey Rangers were crowned junior champions after a 3-9 to 2-2 win over Abbeyside.
