SETU Waterford were heavily defeated by University of Limerick in their Fitzgibbon Cup opener last night.
It finished UL 3-24 SETU 1-17 with the Limerick side's goals coming from a Jack Leahy double and Adam English.
Reuben Halloran contributed 1-10 for SETU.
Elsewhere, Stradbally's Michael Mullaney fired 0-3 as UCC saw off UCD by 0-29 to 1-20, and Mary I got the better of ATU Galway on a 0-22 to 2-14 scoreline.
Tonight, MTU Cork take on University of Galway and TUS Midwest host DCU.
