Ballysaggart are Western Intermediate hurling champions for the first time after a highly entertaining 1-22 to 2-16 victory over Ardmore at Fraher Field.
The Bennett brothers scored 1-19 between them including nine points from play by man of the match Kieran at midfield as they amends for last year's loss to Clashmore/Kinsalebeg.
Ardmore were seven points up during the opening half after two goals by James Kennedy but a Stephen Bennett green flag left Saggart only a point down at the break. Adrian Meagher's side shot the last seven points of the contest to win their maiden title.
Ballygunner romped to a 3-21 to 1-9 victory against Dunhill in the Eastern decider at Walsh Park.
