Roanmore celebrated their first senior football win at Fraher Field on Saturday night.
A first half goal from Eddie Nolan helped the Sky Blues to a 1-8 to 0-6 victory over An Rinn. The former Republic of Ireland international finished with 1-2.
Dean Reidy, Brian Nolan, Brian Everard, Ethan Flynn and Rory Furlong all raised white flags. The Eastern side are still in the mix for a place in the knockout stages. They take on Gaultier next weekend.
Last year's semi finalists An Rinn will now enter the relegation play-offs. Donie Breathnach (0-4) and Ferdia Ó hAodha (0-2) were on target for the Gaeltacht outfit.
