Jurgen Klopp's Reds travel across town this evening to take on their city rivals Everton in the Merseyside Derby.
Both teams resume their Premier League campaign after the coronavirus called a halt to Premier League action in March.
Everton are on a seven game unbeaten streak at home in the league, with the exception of one goalless draw Everton have scored first in all of those games.
The Toffees have been behind at half time in just four of their 29 league matches so far this season - with only one team able to beat that record, that team being Liverpool.
The Reds are currently six points away from securing the Premier League title; their last game before lockdown was their first loss of the season when they went down 3-0 to Watford.
Before the hiatus, Liverpool showed a rare dip in form as they lost four of their previous six competitive games. They have scored more than once in just two of their last competitive games.
The break in play probably calls for pre-covid form to be ignored, but Calvert-Lewin has scored five times in seven games for Everton and Origi is similar for Liverpool - having played a part in four of their last seven goals against Everton
As always - expect a feisty affair, since the last five games have seen an average of 2.4 yellow cards per encounter.
Liverpool will be without Clyne and Shqiri, while Everton will not have the services of Delph, Gbamin, Mina, Tosun or Walcott.
Ahead of the weekends fixtures, former Ireland international and Liverpool star Ray Houghton joined WLR's 'On The Ball with Nigel Kelly' to chat about the league and Liverpool's success.
