The draws for the 2023 Waterford senior and premier intermediate hurling and football championships took place last night (Tuesday, February 7th).

In the Senior hurling: Group A consists of Ballygunner, Abbeyside and Passage; Group B is Mount Sion, Fourmilewater and Tallow; Group C is Roanmore, Lismore and Clonea; and Group D is De La Salle, Dungarvan and Dunhill.

In the Senior Football: Ballinacourty, Kilrossanty and Clashmore/Kinsalebeg are in Group A; Rathgormack, the Nire, Stradbally and An Rinn are in Group B; and Gaultier, Brickey Rangers and Portlaw are in Group C.

Turning to the Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship draw and there are two groups in this competition.

Group A consists of Ferrybank, Ballygunner, Clashmore/Kinsalebeg and Ballysaggart. While Group B has Tramore, Ballyduff Lower, Cappoquin and Shamrocks.

The Premier Intermediate Football Championship also has two groups, with Roanmore, St Saviours, and Kilmacthomas in Group A, and Ballinameela, Rathgormack, and Modeligo in Group B.

The Senior Hurling Championship will begin on the weekend of July 30th and the Senior Football Championship will begin on the weekend of September 17th.
