Liverpool's Irish goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher made the winning penalty save as the Reds beat Arsenal 5-4 on spot kicks in their League Cup quarter final at Anfield last night.
The match had ended 5 apiece following a thrilling 90 minutes.
A brilliant long range second half strike by Joe Willock looked to have handed Arsenal the win, before Divock Origi sent the game to penalties with a 94th minute scissors kick.
Corkman Kelleher says it was his best day in football so far; "It's what dreams are made of really, winning the shootout in the Kop, the atmosphere there at the end was unbelievable, I've never had an experience like that in my life".
