Near neighbours Abbeyside and Dungarvan will face off next Sunday night at Fraher Field in the pick of the Waterford Senior Hurling Championship Quarter-Finals.
The Blues booked their place in the last eight as they had ten points to spare against Fourmilewater (1-26 to 2-13). Ryan Donnelly racked up fifteen points. Patrick Curran goaled in the eighth minute while Shane Ryan and Tom Barron netted for Fourmile. Jamie Barron sat out the game with an ankle injury.
There's a derby weekend ahead as Ballygunner and Passage will do battle again at Walsh Park on Saturday afternoon. They met in the 2013 and 2016 county finals while the Gunners had a facile 3-23 to 1-4 win in last year's semi final.
The all Eastern clash of De La Salle and Roanmore will be the early throw in on Sunday at Walsh Park while Lismore and Mount Sion will renew their rivalry in Dungarvan on Sunday evening.
