Ten clubs are represented on the Waterford under 20 hurling team for this evenings Munster semi final against Tipperary at Semple Stadium.
Abbeyside’s Sean Whelan-Barrett skippers the side at midfield and is one of six dual players selected on Stephen Gough’s starting fifteen. Midfield partner Billy Power was part of Paraic Fanning’s senior panel this season. Six members of the 2018 minor team are included (Dean Beecher, Sam Fitzgerald, Gavin Fives, Oisin O Ceallaigh, Michael Kiely and James Power).
Tipp seniors Jake Morris and Jerome Cahill start for the home side who are hot favourites to advance to the provincial decider.
WLR will broadcast the game live from 7.15 with thanks to George Corbett Skoda. Kieran O’Connor and Eoin Murphy will be on commentary duty.
