De La Salle College have lost out in their bid to reach a first Harty Cup final in 17 years.
Kevin Moran's side went down by 7 points to Thurles CBS this afternoon on a 0-28 to 3-12 scoreline.
They were bidding to reach the final for the first time since when they last won the competition in 2008.
No Waterford school has reached the decider since Colaiste na nDeise in 2013.

Elsewhere, all time record holders St. Flannans of Clare are through to a 41st final.
They beat Gaelcholaiste Mhuire AG by 3-20 to 2-7.
