There was heartbreak for De La Salle college in Mallow as St. Joseph's, Tulla sealed their place in the Harty Cup Final for the very first time.
The Clare school emerged 0-20 to 1-13 winners after a tense battle.
The Waterford school got off to a flying start racing into a 4 point lead after Jack Twomey found the net.
Tulla came back into the game after that, mainly thanks to centre Sean Whiteycombe who ended with 0-15 in a man of the match performance.
DLS were one up at the break, 1-9 to 0-11 and they were still two in front at the 2nd-half water-break but Tulla's energy and work-rate rose as they finished the game strongly to emerge deserving winners.
Patrick Fitzgerald once again top scored for DLS, hitting 11 points.
