Later this afternoon, Waterford boxer Kelyn Cassidy will finally get to step in the ring at the World Championships.
The fighter faces Arriaga Olvera in Belgrade between 3-3.30 pm this afternoon in his opening fight of the Tournament.
Having claimed the Irish senior elite light heavyweight title earlier this month, it's been a meteoric rise to the World Stage for the Ballybeg native.
Team Ireland have had a poor tournament so far, failing to win any of their opening five fights; something that Cassidy hopes to change today.
He spoke to WLR Sport's Nigel Kelly yesterday as he finalised his preparations.
