Gailltir and Truagh Clonlara finished all square after a dramatic and controversial finish to Sunday's Munster Senior Camogie Final in Fethard (1-9 each).
A 66th minute equaliser from Molly Comerford rescued a replay for the Waterford champions. Comerford scored 1-4 from play for the blue and navy.
Truagh Clonlara thought that they were heading for their first senior provincial title when Clare senior Aine O'Loughlin nailed a free on 63 minutes. Her sixth point of the day.
Three additional minutes were signalled but six were played. Gailltir never gave up. Shauna Fitzgerald was hooked before Comerford came up with the leveller.
In a scrappy encounter, with space at a premium, Gailltir led 6-4 at the break. Comerford clipped two from play in the first quarter. Emma Fitzgerald converted two placed balls with Ciara Sherlock and Annie Fitzgerald also on target.
Aine O'Loughlin and Rebecca Foley levelled matters early in the second half. On 39 minutes, Comerford grabbed a delivery from Clodagh Carroll and fired a low shot to the net. That three pointer was cancelled out by Eimear Begley eight minutes later.
In a grandstand finish, Emma Fitzgerald equalised with a last minute free following a foul on Annie Fitzgerald. O'Loughlin looked to have scored the winner before Comerford intervened at the death. Frustration for Truagh Clonlara, relief for Gailltir. Another late, late show from the blue and navy.
The replay will take place next weekend.
