Waterford Ladies Senior Football Champions Comeragh Rangers sourced a remarkable comeback to reach the Munster Senior Ladies Football Championship final.

They faced off against Cork Champions Aghada in Rostellan, Co. Cork.

The East Cork outfit held a comfortable 1-06 to 0-04 lead over the Waterford side at one stage.

But a second half fightback ensued from the Comeragh club and thanks to points from Katie Murray, Emma Murray, Keeley Corbett Barry, Mairead Power, Eileen Power, Ava Connolly and a late Aoibhe Shankey green flag, they came away with a memorable 1-08 to 1-07 victory.

The County Waterford representative ended Ballymacarbry's 42 year reign as champions in 2024 and defeated Moyle Rovers of Tipperary to reach the semi-final stage.

They are now just one step away from becoming provincial champions.

Castleisland Desmonds from Kerry remain in their path.
