Kevin Sheedy and Mike Newell have completed the signing of Josh Collins from UCD.
Aged 23 the centre-back played 95 league games for the Students during the past five seasons.
His total of games for the Belfield Bowl outfit is 100 plus when FAI Cup and League Cup games are added.
A native of Kildare Josh completed a Masters Degree in Applied Economics during his five years at UCD.
He is rated as one of the best central defenders in the League of Ireland and his capture is regarded as a major coup for the Blues.
