Two-time All Star Beth Carton shot 1-14 (1-4 from play) as the Waterford reached the All Ireland camogie quarter finals for the third year in a row with a 2-17 to 0-10 win over Westmeath in Mullingar.
There was only four points between the teams entering the final quarter before Carton fired to the far corner of the net. Brianna O'Regan then saved a penalty from Megan Dowdall. Captain Niamh Rockett blasted home a second goal two minutes into stoppage time as the visitors blitzed their opponents 2-5 to 0-2 in the final quarter.
Nine Carton points (seven frees) and one from Lorraine Bray left the visitors 10-3 up at the break. Referee Eamonn Cassidy blew for 24 first half frees.
Waterford will face Tipperary next Saturday at Páirc Uí Chaoimh.
