Cappoquin are through to the County Senior Camogie Final after a surprise 1-14 to 1-12 win against De La Salle at the WIT Arena yesterday.
Aisling Power scored ten points.
Cappoquin captain Jenny McCarthy says it was an emotional day for the club:
"I think the tears just show it; all the years of working and battling and getting just that bit closer to a final, I think this is one of the lines that we had to draw and had to walk over .
"I think you can tell by all the girls crying that this means the world to us."
Meanwhile, Gailltir eased past St Annes 3-13 to 1-9 in the other semi final.
They'll now face Cappoquin on October 12th at the WIT Arena.
