Three camogie county champions have been crowned today across Waterford.
Abbeyside and Bricky Rangers were at the WIT Arena this morning for their Junior decider where Brickys Came out on top in an unbalanced affair with the full time score of 3-19 to 2-2.
Later in the afternoon, but still at the WIT Arena, it was Dungarvan and An Rinn to settle who would be Intermediate Champions.
A fantastic second half display from Orla Hickey and Fiona Morrisey brought the game to a two point deficit in the last minutes, but Katie Tobin popped up with a goal in the last seconds to secure the win for Dungarvan. Full time score from the WIT Arena Dungarvan 6-6 An Rinn 4-7
The senior camogie championship was the show piece game of the day with All-Ireland and Munster Champions Gaultier laying down the gauntlet for St Annes in Walsh Park.
The Gaultier grip on the county cup was slipping as they moved into injury time as St Annes nailed eight unanswered points, with 6 coming from Niamh Rockett and two from Becky Kavanagh.
In what was a dramatic finish Gaultiers Ciara O Sullivan flicked home an Aife Fitzgerald free to put them back in front and then a fourth point by Emer Walsh deep in injury time provided a tantalising victory for the now three time Champions.
Full time score at Walsh Park 3-13 to 1-16 in favour of Gaultier.
