The Camogie Association have agreed to sit down with the Waterford squad to discuss fixture issues raised in a statement last Friday.
The Déise players expressed their frustration that last night's game against Cork was switched to Sunday at five days' notice and felt that it disrespected the efforts of players who trained since October.
Second half goals by Orla Cronin and Niamh McCarthy gave the Rebels a 2-10 to 0-7 victory at a rain lashed Walsh Park. Waterford led by six points to four at half time thanks to five Beth Carton frees. The home side only registered one second half score however through Aine Lyng.
Déise captain Niamh Rockett revealed afterwards that the Camogie Association want to open talks.
Waterford will face Galway in the All Ireland quarter finals on August 3 at Semple Stadium.
