Cahill and Fitz go head to head this evening as the Waterford hurlers are on home soil. This evening, they play their first competitive game of 2023.

Former Déise boss Liam Cahill brings his Tipperary side to Mallow instead of Fraher Field for the opening round of the pre-season Munster hurling league.

The change in pitch follows an inspection earlier today in Fraher Field. It was ultimately deemed unplayable.

As a result, tonight’s Co-Op Superstores Munster Hurling League game between Waterford v Tipperary will take place in Mallow at the later time of 7:30pm.
