Two Waterford athletes have won gold medals the British Indoors Masters Championships being held at the Lee Valley Centre, London this weekend.
Joe Gough of West Waterford took home the gold medal in the over-70s 800 metres - coming home in a time of 2 minutes and 35 seconds.
Waterford AC's Paschal Halley also picked up a gold medal in his first time competing at the championships - taking the over-55s triple jump title with a score of 10.06 metres, which was also a season's best.
Both men are in action in their respective 400-metre categories this afternoon while Gough will also take part in the 1500m.
