It ended up becoming a very short weekend in Kenya for Craig Breen. The Slieverue native is out after stage seven in what has been a grueling event so far.
Teams had completely changed their setups to accommodate the humpy safari conditions, but it was ultimately to no avail for Breen who has withdrawn due to a suspension issue.

Prior to his early departure, Breen had been searching for some pace on day two but was struggling to make his way to the top of the leaderboard.
He was however the second-fastest M-Sport Ford driver with Sebastien Loeb ahead of him on the leaderboard. Loeb, similar to Breen had a mechanical issue due to the conditions and had to withdraw after stage 4. The Frenchman will however finish the rally out once he returns to the course tomorrow, albeit from far down the standings.
