Craig Breen has improved two places at Rally Monte Carlo
The Slieverue native is now fifth, and 46 seconds off the pace of leader Sebastien Loeb.
Breen's teammate Adrian Fourmaux was ahead of the Waterford man when they began racing this morning, but a nasty crash on the third stage has ruled him out - unless the Ford mechanics can get the car back on the road.

Breen is racing with Ford for the first time, and like the rest of the paddock has been adjusting to the new car where a hybrid engine is now the standard.
Speaking after his opening night in the hills above Monacco, he said there's been an adjustment period to his new car
"Honestly - not so bad and not so good at the same time. A difficult start. Everything is very very new and I'm trying to get used to all these new things in the car."
