Waterford FC advanced to the second round of the FAI Cup this afternoon with victory over Maynooth University Town FC.
Goals either side of half-time from Shane Duggan and Kenny Browne gave the Blues a 2-nil victory at Rathcoffey Road.
Blues boss Alan Reynolds was pleased with the result; "Yeah look I'm delighted with, look we're in the next round, Kevin Lynch gets minutes Sam Bone gets minutes, Walter gets more, there's positives in it so I'm happy to be in the next round.
Massive thanks to all the travelling support in Maynooth. Two massive games next weekend as we welcome Cork City (Friday) and Shamrock Rovers (Monday) to the RSC . #MUTvWFC
