Waterford FC are on the road again this evening.

League duties will be put aside as the Blues travel to Louth to take on Drogheda United in the second round of the FAI Cup.

The Blues scored a 4-1 victory over Dublin outift, Skerries in the opening round with Noel Hunt netting a hat trick.

Waterford also picked up a positive league result in Derry last weekend, the 2-1 victory at the Brandywell moved Alan Reynolds charges four points clear in third position.

Speaking to WLR Sport, Blues defender Dave Webster says the game is a nice distraction from chasing league points.

Dave says they won't be taking anything for granted against the Louth side.

Dave told Matt Keane the squad want a good run in the Cup.

Elsewhere tonight in the Cup, champions Cork City host non-league Maynotth University.

Derry City and St Pats meet in a repeat of the 2014 final, which was won by Pats.

Premier Division leaders Dundalk host Finn Harps, Bohemians travel to Galway, Limerick and Cabinteely meet at the Gaelic Grounds, and First Division leaders UCD are away to CIE Ranch.
