After the 13th stage of the 107th edition of the Tour De France, Carrick-On-Suirs Sam Bennett still wears the green jersey.
In what was a heavy day of riding - deemed to be a "flat" stage in the race book, the riders were asked to ascend the Montée de la Selle de Fromentel as well as the Col de la Biche - two hefty category two and three climbs respectively.
Søren Kragh Andersen took the stage win after an excellent late attack saw him cross the line with the peloton bearing down on him in the background.
The man from Carrick came home within the time limit to retain the points jersey which will see him wear it again for the seventh time.
His main opposition for the points classification is still his ex team mate Peter Sagan, who has now closed the the gap to just 45 points having taken a fourth pace finish in the bunch sprint.
This tee's up what looks to be an all out race for the finish line in Paris where 50 points are on offer for a win on the final day. If the gap remains unchanged between now and then, the last day into Paris which normally is more ceremonial than anything else could result in the jersey winner being decided in the last few seconds.
