Ballysaggart are through to their first Western Intermediate hurling final as Adrian Meagher's side came good in the second half to beat Cappoquin 3-16 to 2-15 at Fraher Field last night.
Cappoquin led 1-12 to 1-9 at the break as Shane Bennett and David Cahillane traded goals.
The teams were level entering the final quarter but late goals from Kenneth Cashel and Shane Bennett gave Saggart a famous win.
The Bennett brothers scored 2-10 between them as they look forward to a Western final against either Ardmore or Clashmore / Kinsalebeg.
