The Ballymacarbry ladies are set to renew their rivalry with The Banner in tonight's Munster B football final at the Mallow GAA Complex. It's the seventh year in a row that these sides will face each other.

Ballymac forward Linda Wall believes that their bruising county final win against Comeragh Rangers last month was perfect preparation for the battle that lies ahead. "It was one of the most physically demanding games I've played in my life. It was a defensive game from start to finish. It mightn't have been the best game to watch, there was probably thirteen players behind the ball on each side. It was an extremely tense, tight and physical game but we were expecting that. To come out on top was amazing for us. It puts us in a good position to have such a hard game under our belts."

Throw in is at 8 o'clock. The prize for the winners is a Munster A final against Cork champions Mourneabbey next weekend.
