Ballygunner and Na Piarsaigh will contest the Munster club hurling final for the third time in four years at Semple Stadium on Sunday.
Billy O'Sullivan captained the Gunners to provincial glory in 2001 and feels that this team has learned from past defeats to the Limerick champions.
He says that they showed huge character against Midleton and Ballyea and will need to do so again on Sunday.
Former Ballygunner defender Stephen Frampton feels that a free taking competition isn't a fair way to resolve club championship matches.
Sunday's Munster final could be decided by 65s if the sides finish level at the end of two phases of extra time and Frampton is firmly opposed to the idea.
