All activities have been suspended at Abbeyside/Ballinacourty GAA after one of the senior team informed the club that he was awaiting the results of covid testing - having been in close contact with a positive case.
Following this news from the player - the club have suspended all activity at adult and juvenile levels.
A statement from the club reads "We hope that you all appreciate we have take taken this decision in the best interests of all our members especially at a time when we must all do our best to stop the rise in covid rates in the county. With this weekends semi final against The Nire set to be played on Saturday, the fixture will be in doubt until the test result is returned.
