Waterford hurling manager Peter Queally is thrilled to have long serving kitman Roger Casey back on board for 2025. The Colligan man has been part of the set-up for the last 31 seasons.
"It's brilliant to have Roger around. This came up in a meeting at the weekend, what it means to play for Waterford, and players mentioned how important it was to have Roger around and what he means to the group of players. I bumped into Roger in Dungarvan, I saw the kit van and I pulled up alongside him and he had a big smile on his face! He loves doing it. He goes around with the kit van around Dungarvan, doing all his jobs, picking up all the different bits and pieces. He loves what he's doing and he's a great fella to have around."
